We had great fun creating a group firework ‘splatter’ picture outside.  It also led to lots of talk about the children’s own recent experiences of Bonfire Night with their family and friends.  We loved listening to their descriptions of this exciting night.  It also provided an opportunity to discuss ways to stay safe around fire.  The children had some very sensible suggestions as to why and how we should behave during firework displays.
