Collective worship is a very special time at Heskin Pemberton’s. It is a time when we can all come together, a time when we can sing, a time when we can praise God and a time when we can reflect on our Gospel Values.
Worship and RE are not ‘one off’ periods of the day. The messages they convey and the importance placed on these are an intrinsic part of our school. Our Christen character is strengthened by our practice and runs through every aspect of our school.
Our worship time involves all members of our community and we are always looking for ways of improving the way we worship at Heskin.
This important time together has improved our knowledge of the Scriptures, has enriched the prayers we share and has enabled the school to recognise the importance of all charitable acts for people in need of our time, our understanding, our talents, our prayers or our support.
Our Worship time is different each and every day but love is always at the heart of everything we do during this special time together.
As part of our Collective Worship, we look at Little People, BIG DREAMS by Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara. Each Term we find out all about a different person and look at how their lives can inspire us.
Our weekly class worships focus on an important item of news. This year we have covered:
Our Ethos Clubs also love to plan and lead worships. Here is the worship planned ny our Junior Ethos Club in the Summer Term.
