This year we will be starting to use an app called Seesaw. This is an online learning journal which will show examples of your child’s work and photographs of what they’ve been up to. Each child will be given an individual login once we have started our main topics this term. It is important to note that your child will only be able to access their own work, not the work of others.
Of course, not every piece of work will be detailed on this journal, but it should help to open the dialogue with your children and give you a peek at their week! We encourage you to comment and like their work too! If the children choose to complete the home learning activities, you can use the Class App to upload their work, send in photos or videos etc to add to their learning journey too.
Below, we have attached important information that you might find useful as a parent/guardian about the journal. It is important to note that you will only be able to access the work/images of your child. I would also like to emphasise that the photographs may contain other children that they have worked with and you must therefore respect the privacy of other individuals by not sharing such images online.
Below you will find an overview of our learning this Autumn term!
We have also included our home learning grid for the Autumn term. These activities are not compulsory but are there should you wish to continue your learning at home. Please choose as many activities as you wish and submit your learning to us on seesaw. Hopefully, this will give everyone more freedom in their learning and help us to be more eco friendly too!
Weekly homework activities will also be posted on Seesaw and Maths Shed.
