On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome The Rt. Rev Dr. Jill Duff, Bishop of Lancaster to our school.
Members of our Ethos group wrote a lovely letter to the Bishop, telling her all about Heskin and inviting her to our school.
We were delighted when Bishop Jill accepted our invitation. She spent the afternoon with us, exploring classrooms, helping with Science experiments, constructing castles with our youngest children and participating in a Q&A session with the Juniors.
At the end of the day, Bishop Jill joined us for a very special whole school worship.
It was a great honour to have Bishop Jill visit our school and we thoroughly enjoyed her being here.
